Rustic Yellow and Navy Blue

I LOVED this cake!

  It's makes my job so fun when brides go bold with their color choices.  Don't get me wrong, white will always be traditional and elegant.  But lets get serious.  The color of this cake is awesome.

Rustic yellow colored fondant with a navy blue ribbon and a delicate broach.

Simple, but super trendy and fun.

The middle tier has an added layer to give it some height.

Our lovely bride chose a round fondant cake with fun accents of color!

Their initials just happen to be B.M.W.!

Blue fondant dots, initials in buttercream and buttercream scroll work on the bottom.

VW Beetle Cake

I love it when cakes have a fun story behind them.

The cute lady who placed this order wanted a cake to celebrate her car, "Bubbles" first birthday.

She took her grandkids with her to pick out a new car ... they chose Bubbles the Blue VW ... and the rest is history!

They had a little birthday party for the car, complete with invitations and of course, a birthday cake!

What a fun grandma!

Buttercream Cursive

This is a round buttercream cake with the bride and groom's names written out in black buttercream.

My Sweet Grandma Mimi got Married!

I was lucky enough to make a 3 tier buttercream cake for my incredible grandmother's wedding party!

The top layer has a large sugar paste flower with 3 ivory colored ribbons underneath.  The middle layer is fairly simple with small sugar paste flowers at the base and the bottom layer has ivory ribbons laid out randomly with buttercream beads bordering each tier.

Aren't they adorable?  :)

Marriage is a wonderful thing.

A Cake For Kenz

My oh so lovely cousin got married a couple of months ago!  I was a big nerd and forgot to take pictures of her cake that I made for her :(  She sent me a few pictures but the really good ones won't load!  Rude! These tiny pictures will have to do.
